Kathleen (Cass) Cronan: Executive Director
Cass has extensive experience working with Denver’s nonprofit community, specifically organizations serving homeless and low-income populations, both as a volunteer and in various leadership roles. She has practiced law for more than 30 years in the Denver area.

 

 

Ona Crow, MSWProgram and Development Director
Ona received a Bachelors in Psychology from New Mexico State University and a Master of Social Work from the University of Denver, focusing on Conservation Social Work on a Community Level, and she also has a certificate in Animal Assisted Social Work. She brings a passion for utilizing the human-nature bond in empowerment work.

 

Kelly Shinn

Kelly Shinn, MSW: Garden and Program Director
Kelly served as a Program Associate in 2011 while earning her Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Denver. After working with Arapahoe County Department of Social Services, she returned in 2013 to direct the Workshop Program. She has experience in gardens, farms, and CSA’s, and is an advocate for food access and food justice.

 

Carolyn Thornton

Carolyn Thornton: Community Engagement Director
Carolyn, a Baltimore native, received a Bachelors of Science degree, focused on Art Education and Visual Communications from Towson University in Maryland.  She coordinates sales, the EarthLinks’ Volunteer Program, online and print outreach, and community events.

: Marketing Coordinator
Mary Nelle is a Sister of Loretto who joined us in 2003. Originally from Texas, and a graduate of Loretto Heights, she brings unmatched energy and enthusiasm to EarthLinks, and can be found staffing any number of our booths at festivals where we sell products from the EarthLinks Workshop Program.

 

 

Dayna TappDayna Streufert: Program Assistant
Dayna graduated from Linfield College with a BA in Sociology in 2011.  After spending a year as a Program Associate with EarthLinks through the Urban Servant Corps program, Dayna was hired on to support the Workshop Program at EarthLinks.  Dayna has recently started  her graduate work in social work at Metropolitan State University of Denver. She always finds stability in the daily work and rich community of EarthLinks. Dayna is passionate about people and the value of their stories, as well as hiking, biking, and enjoying the beautiful outdoors.

Jennay SmithJennay SmithAdministrative Assistant
After graduating from Whitworth University, Jennay spent a year as a Program Associate with EarthLinks through the Colorado Vincentian Volunteer program. She is happy to be back working at EarthLinks in an administrative capacity.

 

 

Laura Schneiter: Program Assistant Laura
A Colorado native and graduated from CU Denver with a Bachelors in Psychology and a minor in Environmental Science. She has a passion for studying humans relationships to their environment and ways to learn skills to enhance community resilience. She recently graduated from a national volunteer program called AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps where she traveled to various communities and learned skills in trail building, construction, gardening and environmental restoration. When she is not woodworking in the EarthLinks garage, she enjoys hiking, making jewelry, playing with dogs and eating pizza.

Emily Haskins: Urban Servant Corps Volunteer
Emily is a Colorado native and graduated from Augustana College (Rock Island, IL) with a BA in Environmental Studies and Geography in 2015. After graduating, she served as a volunteer teaching English in Madagascar with the ELCA’s Young Adults in Global Mission program. She will be joining the EarthLinks team as an Urban Servant Corps volunteer and is very passionate about environmental social justice issues and excited to learn about the healing properties of working in gardens. For fun, Emily likes to bike, hang out in coffee shops, and be around animals.

“A New York native, Daneel is proud to serve at Earthlinks through the Americorps VISTA program. He received his Bachelors in Arts Management and Administration from Purchase College. Aside from embracing the beautiful state of Colorado, Daneel is excited to work with the lovely team here at Earthlinks.”

Katie is serving as an Americorps VISTA member after receiving her bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Eastern Michigan University. Katie has formal training in art and photography, and brings a deep passion for the natural world and creative expression. She is dedicated to just, healthy, and sustainable communities.

Kira received her bachelors degree in psychology from the University of Texas and is in her first year of studies for a Masters Degree in Social Work at the University of Denver. She is passionate about sustainability, responsible development and all things animal related.

 

 

Val Farsetti:val-farsetti University of Denver Intern
Joining the Earthlinks Team from Louisville, Ky, Val is completing her MSW at the University of Denver with a concentration in Sustainable Development and Global Practice and a certificate program in Animal-Assisted Social Work. She is interested in the overall connection between humans, animals, and nature.
