EarthLinks’ 5th Annual Plant Sale wrap up

Many thanks to everyone who joined us at the EarthLinks’ 5th Annual Plant & Garden Sale. Because of the variety of plants, vegetables, herbs, flowers, products and the added bonus of Laura Matthews’ educational talks and healthy natural products from Holistic Pathways, the Plant Sale was a huge success.  Because of your support, we raised over $8,000 at the Plant Sale combined with the Mother’s Day Plant sale at Jefferson Unitarian Church!  This is a huge accomplishment that will go a long way to support our program of community ending isolation. Your gifts of time,...

This support gives everyone hope and the continued will to push through. And THIS is where YOU step in and help turn that hope into reality. This is where you can give our community the help needed to find that stable housing to call...

That Infinite Night Sky

My name is Ruth, and I know first hand that homelessness can happen to anyone. It was 1984 when I stepped off the plane in Denver. I looked up and was shocked to see how much open sky there was. It was a very freeing change of scenery for me, coming from a small town in Alabama. Those tall southern trees tower over everything, and the sky gets shaded out. I love Colorado for its change of seasons, but my love for the outdoors stems from my childhood memories of those Alabama forests. It amazes me how many parks there are in Denver. One can appreciate nature throughout the city. I love...
