Plant Sale Recap

It has been months since we planted our first seeds in February for our beautiful state flower, the Columbine. Our New Greenhouse!

It was cold and windy the day three volunteers and I built the greenhouse, and the only saving grace was the fleeting sunshine. With cold, stiff hands, we worked through each step, and slowly the random poles, windows, and screws began to transform into a beautiful greenhouse. When we finally slid the roof panels into place, the greenhouse instantly started warming up! As we put in the shelves, I realized just how much warm, sunny space we now have to start our seeds and keep our plants producing far in to the winter. Our Workshop Program is designed to provide meaningful work for...
