Program Coordinator

Position:

The Program Coordinator will collaborate with the Program Director on all workshop activities and community-building activities. Additionally, the Program Coordinator will report to the Executive Director for all administrative tasks, detailed as follows:

 

EarthLinks Workshop Program:

  • Supervise and facilitate breakfast preparations for program participants each morning by 9 am; clean up at 9:25 am.

  • Plan weekly workshop activities and prepare all materials prior.

  • Prepare and facilitate weekly Reflection activities for participants that build rapport amongst peers and educate participants on valuable life and social skills.

  • Coordinate and facilitate workshop activities with the assistance of other program staff, including the cleanup of workshop activities.

  • Keep track of needed project materials for workshop activities.

  • Coordinate and integrate volunteers into workshop and garden tasks.

  • Distribute participant paychecks during the monthly pay period.

  • Pick up baby food jars from Marjory Reed bi-weekly (or as needed) as coordinated by EarthLinks.

  • Call participants for reminders (for individual meetings, nature trips, etc.). 

  • Assist with site tours and orientation of new participants.

  • Track participant attendance, as well as timeliness.

  • Enter attendance, meal and service data into HMIS in a timely manner

 

Other duties as assigned:

  • Keep workshop and kitchen space tidy.

  • Plan and facilitate activities for volunteers (esp. college immersion groups).

  • Assist the Community Engagement Director and Operations Director with “Notes from the Workshop” videos.

  • Attend Community Links events and represent the EarthLinks community.

  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Compensation:

$22 - $25 hourly

20 - 35 hours weekly

Monday - Friday (Occasional weekend availability)

 

Physical:

  • Able to lift 35 lbs.

  • Able to stand for long periods.

  • Able to have manual dexterity for holding pitchers, and drink preparation.

  • Be able to balance on a step stool for cleaning and other tasks.

Safety:

  • COVID 19 Vaccination is required

  • Able to maintain respect for all cultures, genders, sexualities, races/ethnicities, spiritualities, abilities, and ages.

  • Be able to resolve conflict with professionalism.

  • Wear closed-toed shoes.

 

Responsibility:

  • Have a phone or reliable means of communication for scheduling and communicating emergencies.
