Community Art

Every participant has unique talents and skills they bring to the EarthLinks community. We believe that by providing a safe space for them to express their artistic side and opportunities to show the outside community what they can do is fundamental to end feelings of isolation.

Participant Art  Show and Sale

Every summer, EarthLinks hosts a Participant Art Show and Sale, featuring art and crafts made by members of our community. This year,  we will have a Holiday Gift market - featuring art made by Participants and EarthLinks products! The event is on-site at EarthLinks. Parking is available in Decatur or in the alley between 13th and Holden (east side).

There are typically several jewelry makers, people making pickled foods, jams, and jellies, miniatures, painted rocks, painted clothes, greeting cards, and more. The EarthLinks Coffee Shop and Store will be open as well. Hope to see you there!

Art for Social Change

Police Brutality against people of color is present in most systems that created the U.S.A we know today. In 2020, the George Floyd protests sparked uproar across the globe, and some participants of EarthLinks wanted to share our message of anti-discrimination through art. EarthLinks stands with the BLM movement and is committed to doing what we can to end systemic racism.
